Donate Your Technology

Service Description

TECH DONATION Give your old technology a second life with YourPCPlug. We accept computers, components, electronics, and other technology and evaluate each item to determine how it can make the greatest impact. Our goal is simple: reduce e-waste, keep usable technology out of landfills, and help people and communities gain access to the technology they need. HOW IT WORKS 01 — SUBMIT YOUR DONATION Contact YourPCPlug with information about the technology you'd like to donate, including its condition and any known issues. 02 — WE EVALUATE YOUR TECH We'll inspect each item to determine whether it can be repaired, refurbished, reused, donated, or harvested for parts. 03 — WE REFURBISH & REPAIR Whenever possible, we'll clean, repair, upgrade, and test usable technology so it can have a longer life. Working components may also be used in other systems. 04 — WE GIVE BACK Qualifying technology may be donated to schools, community programs, families, and individuals in need. Our goal is to help put reliable technology into the hands of people who can benefit from it. 05 — WE RESELL REFURBISHED TECH If donated equipment can be refurbished but isn't needed for a community donation, we may resell it as an affordable refurbished product. This helps support our ability to repair, reuse, and donate more technology. 06 — WE REDUCE E-WASTE Technology that cannot reasonably be reused may be harvested for usable parts or responsibly recycled whenever possible. Every device we keep in use helps reduce electronic waste. OUR MISSION We're working to reduce e-waste while making technology more accessible. By repairing, refurbishing, reselling, donating, and responsibly recycling technology, we can extend the life of electronics and make a positive impact on schools, communities, and individuals.
